Who can try an eFoil?

Active adults and older teenagers who can swim and safely kneel and stand can usually try eFoiling. Previous surfing experience is not required.

Why does a large stable board matter?

What happens in the first lesson

We begin with helmet and vest fitting, remote checks and the rule of always falling away from the board. In the water you first practise starting and stopping propulsion.

You then ride lying down, kneeling and only stand once direction is stable. Foil height is increased gradually.

Common beginner mistakes

The most common mistake is adding too much power or attempting high flight before direction is stable. Another is looking down at the feet instead of ahead.

Relaxed movement, bent knees and small weight changes work better than forcing the board.

One lesson, a day or a week?

A short lesson provides the first sensation. A day allows more repetition, while a week creates genuine progression and lets you choose the best conditions during the holiday.
